The Lord has been clearly directing Brianna’s steps since her childhood growing up in Louisville, Kentucky. By his grace and through the discipleship of her parents, she was raised in the faithful ministry of Southeast Christian Church, and accepted Jesus as Lord on her fourteenth birthday. She began her college career at Hope College in Michigan, and then transferred midway through her sophomore year to the University of the Cumberlands, for the purpose of seeking godly community. Having gratefully experienced an answer to this prayer, Brianna graduated with a degree in Human Services and a minor in Missions and Ministry. Simultaneously undergoing an incredibly difficult season, the Lord led her to apply to a ministry internship at her college church for the summer after graduation. This was where she felt an undeniable call to ministry. In the very last week of the program, she led a camp small group of high school girls, and knew without a doubt that strengthening disciples was exactly what she was made to do. She returned home to spend two semesters working as a nanny and researching ministry opportunities, eventually coming across Lakepointe’s School of Ministry page. God’s hand is so evident throughout her story, as he has entrusted her with strengthening the very youngest disciples of Lakepointe Church. READ MORE

The Lord has been diligent in seeking after Brittany since she was born in Dallas, Texas. As a result of her God-fearing parents, Brittany encountered numerous men and women of the faith who were dedicated to proclaiming the name of Jesus. Even as Brittany was far from God, He continued to press into her affections through ministries such as Young Life, Breakaway and her childhood youth group at North Highlands Bible Church. God brought Brittany to her knees in surrender during her junior year of high school, igniting a fire within her for the Lord. As God guided her to Texas A&M University, He utilized the Baptist Student Ministry to reveal Brittany’s brokenness and desperate need for community. Brittany was able to care for the lost in international outreach groups, hear the testimonies of believers in bible studies and mentor women in their walk with God in discipleship coordination. This empowered Brittany to become a 4th grade teacher in Richardson, Texas, after graduating from college. She discovered here that she was made to spark authenticity in young people for the will of God. During this year of refinement, Brittany recognized strongholds in the ministry of re:generation that were keeping her captive from fully following God and she was baptized as a true reflection of her faith in Jesus. With a softened heart, Brittany recognized and received her call from God into full-time ministry. She stepped out in boldness to leave teaching and join the School of Ministry at Lakepointe. God has only further confirmed His movement in her heart to help others discover Christ. In working with the next generation of believers through kids ministry, student ministry and young adult ministry, Brittany now delights in making God known everywhere she goes for His glory.
