whY should i BE BAPTIZED?

Baptism symbolizes that our old self is gone (going under the water) and our new self has come (coming above the water). There is nothing magical in the water, for it alone does not make us a believer in Christ, but rather it's a declaration to the world that you’ve made a decision in your heart to make Jesus the Lord of your life. Baptism is one the most powerful ways we can carry the name of Jesus and the first step of obedience as we follow the example that Jesus laid out for us in Matthew 3. 

 

wheN CAN I BE BAPTIZED?

You can sign up to be baptized at any of our weekend services. Click to select your campus and find an available date that works for your schedule.

what IS BAPTISM WEEKEND?

Although baptism can happen every weekend during one of our services, Baptism Weekend is a special weekend where as a church we pause to celebrate all of those who have proclaimed their new life in Christ. Keep an eye out on our events page to see dates for the next Baptism Weekend.

WHO WILL BAPTIZE ME?

We'll have an LP pastor in the water to ask if you have followed Jesus as your Lord and Savior and celebrate you being baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. If you would like someone special to immerse you just ask your campus ahead of time and we'll work with you to make it happen!

ARE BAPTISMS RECORDED?

Yes! The week after your baptism you will receive an email from us with instructions on where to view the recording of your baptism.

YOUR SALVATION

If you have recently prayed to receive Christ or would like to speak to someone about taking this step, we would love to hear from you. We can answer your questions and provide you with resources and encouragement. You can speak to a Serve Team Member at the end of any service or contact us.
