It is amazing what God has done through the people of Lakepointe over the past 42 years. Our church has grown from 7 families in a bait house to thousands of people meeting each week in 25 services in 6 different locations and in 2 languages. God has used us to plant 48 new churches in spiritually under-resourced regions in cities like Boston, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, Portland, and San Francisco.
We are launching a new initiative we are calling More Than Us. This initiative is about investing in the future, our facilities and our friends, because we believe that the impact is about more than just us here at Lakepointe Church. This vision has the potential to accelerate our plans of reaching the local communities where we have campuses and planting many new churches nationally, while increasing our support to our long-term partnerships around the world. This truly is about more than us.

Develop Lakepointe School of Ministry
The goal of Lakepointe School of Ministry is to educate, equip and empower leaders to become physically, mentally and spiritually prepared to fulfill the Great Commission. Through the School of Ministry, we aim to supply the Church with leaders of character, competence and practical ministry experience to lead the future generations for the Kingdom.
School of Ministry will develop leaders through:

Amor Viviente Church, located in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, México and led by Pastor Paul Lewis, has been a partner church with Lakepointe for the past 15 years. Through the years, Amor Viviente has grown alongside both Lakepointe and Lakepointe en Español.
Since Pastor Paul became the lead pastor of Lakepointe en Español (LPE), the unity between both churches continued to grow even more. Seeing both the great need in Latin America of doctrinally sound, healthy and strategic churches, and the great potential of Lakepointe en Español, we embraced the opportunity to make Amor Viviente the first LPE campus outside the U.S. This will allow us to utilize our resources (like staff and technology) to extend our reach to Spanish-speaking people in need of Christ and extend our impact in the Kingdom of God beyond our borders. We are convinced this will be the first step toward an even greater vision of the Lord using Lakepointe to help people in all nations and languages know God, find freedom, discover calling, and make a difference.

On July 1, 1996, Lakepointe Church moved from a 19-acre site and 1,300-seat auditorium on Dalrock Road to its current 36 acres and almost 5,000-seat auditorium. Through a miracle from God, Lakepointe did so with no increase to its annual mortgage cost. Over the years, the church has continued to grow by expanding to 6 physical locations. As we have continued reaching the families in our communities, our continual growth has necessitated additional expansions and upgrades once again, most importantly the kids’ spaces at all of our locations.
