“If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.”

John 15:7-8

If we are connected to the vine and we are becoming more and more like Jesus, our prayers will not be selfish, but the kind of requests Jesus would make. Jesus received everything He requested because He and the Father are completely and consistently aligned in their thinking.

PRAY FOR SELF:
God, reveal your will to me so that I can have confidence as I pray. Help me focus on your Word so that my thinking will be aligned with yours. I am thankful for your work in my life, and for your willingness to hear my requests. May others see Jesus in me. In Jesus’ name, amen.

PRAY FOR CHURCH:
God, we pray for revival. Holy Spirit, may you awaken in your Church a deep passion and a holy desire for more of your presence. That we may be a people that see and delight in your glory so that others around us may do so as well. In Jesus’ name, amen.
