WEEK ONE

ISAIAH 64:1-2

Monday, September 2

“When the LORD saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, ‘Moses! Moses!’ And Moses said, ‘Here I am.”

EXODUS 3:4

The bush on fire piqued Moses’ curiosity. Hearing his name got Moses’ attention. God uses a variety of methods to get our attention because He is always looking for an opportunity to present Himself to us. What are some ways God has gotten your attention in the past?

PRAY FOR SELF:
God, I am asking you to get my attention today. Thank you, that you are always present with me. Give me eyes to see your works in my life. Thank you for the promise that as I draw near to you, you will draw near to me. Please draw near to me. In Jesus’ name, amen.

PRAY FOR CHURCH:
God, in a time full of distractions, we want to fix our attention on you. May we respond to your voice calling your church to obedience, holiness, worship, and devotion with a resounding “Yes, Lord!” In Jesus’ name, amen.
