WEEK THREE

1 CORINTHIANS 4:20

Tuesday, September 17

“So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army… and God said: ‘I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the LORD have spoken, and I have done it, declares the LORD.’”

Ezekiel 37:1-14

We allow our circumstances to diminish our hope. Our soul shrivels. We feel alone, distant, hopeless. Ezekiel encountered the God of life! The same God wants to breathe life into your weary soul.

PRAY FOR SELF:
God, I ask that in the moments I feel alone, weary, and afraid, that you will breathe new life into me and give me hope. I ask that your Holy Spirit move in such a way that I know you are real, you are present, and you are good. God, breathe your Spirit into our church that we will experience your unparalleled power. In Jesus’ name, amen.

PRAY FOR CHURCH:
God, we pray that you may breathe your Holy Spirit and give new life to our church. We ask for dry bones to come to life! We ask for dead souls to find life! We ask for renewed affection for you. Jesus, build your Church! Have your way. Glorify your name, amen.
