“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in His love.”

John 15:9-10

When we encounter Christ and then abide in Him, the character qualities that honor the Lord begin to emerge. Because God is love, others will notice the divine quality of love developing within us.

PRAY FOR SELF:
God, thank you that you are love. Thank you that you are the one who gives all good things and that it is in your nature to be love. Help me remain in your love. I pray that others will see the love that you have given me as evidence of my encounter with you. In Jesus’ name, amen.

PRAY FOR CHURCH:
God, we pray that our church may be known by the love we have for one another. We ask that as you fill us more with your presence, we can grow in boldness and in power to be witnesses to others of the love of Jesus. In Jesus’ name, amen.
