1 CORINTHIANS 4:20

Sunday, September 15

“Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.”

Proverbs 28:13

We hate to admit it, but we fail God regularly. The good news is He knows our weakness and loves us anyway. His forgiveness is ours for the taking. Take it! Everything changes when you encounter the forgiving love of God.

PRAY FOR SELF:
God, thank you for loving me even when I fail you. Give me a contrite heart and forgive me of any sin that is holding me captive. Help me walk in your freedom today and find mercy in you. In Jesus’ name, amen.

PRAY FOR CHURCH:
God, may you create in us hearts that practice repentance and confession with one another as we come together regularly. Thank you because you are a just yet merciful God, and when we confess our sins to one another, we find forgiveness and freedom. In Jesus’ name, amen.
