“Then He said, ‘I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.’ At this, Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God.”

EXODUS 3:6

Moses hid his face because he was in the presence of the Almighty. That is God’s name. Almighty God, El-Shaddai (Genesis 17:1). As Almighty God, He is all-sustaining and all-sufficient. He has all power in heaven and on earth. Even the power to compel nature to do things contrary to nature.

PRAY FOR SELF:
God, I am sorry for the times I allow my circumstances to take over. Reveal yourself to me as Almighty God. Help me trust you and trust your complete power to take care of me and supply me with all I need. Thank you for providing for me. In Jesus’ name, amen.

PRAY FOR CHURCH:
God, we ask that you create a fearless church that is grounded on the fear of the Lord. Fill us with your Holy Spirit, so that others can see that our God is always faithful, always worthy and always good. In Jesus’ name, amen.
