WEEK ONE

ISAIAH 64:1-2

Tuesday, September 3

“God said. ‘Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.'”

EXODUS 3:5

We come to God on His terms. It is not about footwear; it is about holiness. The only way for us to come into the presence of a holy God is to become holy ourselves. When we trust in Christ, God accepts us as holy in His sight.

PRAY FOR SELF:
God, forgive me of the times when I have taken your holiness for granted. You are holy and you are good. Thank you for forgiving me of my sins and allowing me into your presence. Give me an opportunity to encounter your goodness today. In Jesus’ name, amen.

PRAY FOR CHURCH:
God, as we meditate on your holiness, lead our hearts towards delight, awe, reverence, fear, and adoration. Thank you because you are holy and because that’s true, then you are also always trustworthy and good. In Jesus’ name, amen.
