WHAT IS THE
SUMMER INTERNSHIP?
The Lakepointe Summer Internship is a 9–week program for young adults ages 18–21 who have completed their first year of college. Students receive training in theological teaching and practical ministry application from some of Lakepointe’s top church leaders.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
Interns will gain a deeper appreciation and understanding of being a servant leader within the church through hands-on experience with:

WHO IS THE SUMMER INTERNSHIP FOR?
The summer internship is open to young adults ages 18–21 who are pursuing a call to ministry and have completed their first year of college.
What will I need for this internship?
All interns will need to provide their own transportation, and a willing spirit to adapt to challenge and change. Host housing is available for students who need it.
Lakepointe will also provide a $1,000 stipend and any books or resources needed for training.
What are some hands-on opportunities?
Interns will attend Kids and Students camps, local missions and assist with weekend services.
When does the internship begin and end?
This internship is May 19–July 20, 2025
What is the application process like?
Applicants will need to apply online and complete all application requirements. You’ll have a phone interview, followed by an in-person or Zoom interview with Lakepointe staff.
