SPECIAL NEEDS MINISTRY

WE’RE HERE

FOR YOU

Our vision is to help those with unique challenges and needs soar to new heights. We have designed classes for both children and adults whose needs are best met through a small group setting or who are needing more attention. We have a wonderful group of volunteers who serve faithfully to ensure everyone who attends feels safe and loved. Complete the questionnaire below if you are interested in attending a class.

Our SOAR class meets the needs of students who require more specialized care due to developmental delay and/or physical disabilities. We use play to encourage social interaction and to teach God’s Word. A Bible study is also shared each week which includes an engaging video, craft and game.

MOVE & LEARN

This class is designed for students in kinder – grade 5 who benefit from a small group setting and who need help with social interaction as well as more time to transition. Students will learn about the Bible through creative story-telling and engaging videos. Computers are also available as an additional learning tool.

EXPLORERS

Our Explorer class meets the needs of teenage students who require more specialized care due to developmental delay and/or physical disabilities. We use play to encourage social interaction and to teach God’s Word. A Bible study is also shared each week which includes an engaging video, craft and an atmosphere suitable for their age.

ADULT CLASS

Adults with Special Needs Life Group is a class for adults in their 20’s – 40’s who can find community with one another. The class is designed for adults with special needs who can learn in a classroom environment and can self-discipline. Our teaching is video and discussion oriented, with a focus on how to learn and understand the Bible.
